Search Engine Optimization is what improves your chances of getting noticed
One great thing about the web that is an advantage to all, is the relative ease of gathering information on any subject you desire. I don’t claim to be an expert on search engine optimization (SEO) and the wonderful thing is you don’t have to be either to improve your chances of getting noticed on the web.
First for a brief explanation of SEO, it is the process of becoming more noticeable on the web in the natural or un-paid results that come about when you type in keywords for whatever you are using. If you have not noticed (and believe me most people don’t) when you search the “net” both results paid for by clients of the search engine and general results based on your keywords appear in the page results. The paid ads usually end up on the top of the page and down the right side. What SEO can do is help you rank higher in the “free” section. The higher you rank the better chance you will be noticed.
EVERYONE’s goal that puts up a website or blog is to get attention for their idea or product. Google, Yahoo, and Bing’s goal is to deliver the information that is most relevant to their users (You and me). Also, they work to place their clients (people paying for advertising) in spots under search results relevant to their message. By placing the right SEO information you improve your chances of being notice alongside the paid advertisers in the results.
SEO is basically simple computer code which enables search engines to notice and pick up easier on what your site is about. In doing this it can feed individuals to your site who are asking about information you have. Do you have to be a computer genius to do this? No. Do you need to have volumes of analytics (data) to produce effective SEO? Again, No. What you do need is a little bit of time and information.
Time? Good luck with finding that but if you need information, I’m your guy. Listed below are four sites that can help you add search engine optimization to your website or blog:
