Kickstarter Campaign for documentary - A Pineapple Republic

We’ve Launched our Kickstarter Campaign – Please join us!

We are thrilled to announce that A Pineapple Republic, our documentary film, has officially launched its Kickstarter campaign during the month Hawaii became a state. This documentary deals with an industry that benefited and grew as Hawaii went from territory to statehood. Some of the most powerful men of the time were involved in the pineapple industry and tracking its history is also a window into the development of the Hawaiian Islands.

Help me tell this story and share a piece of Hawaii’s history!

We ask you to participate and spread the word (email, Facebook, Twitter, etc) to friends and colleagues.

Our goal is to raise $45,232 in 45 days, starting Thursday, August 22, and ending on Monday, October 6th. The funds will pay for the production of this documentary film with an historical importance to Hawaii.
